LOZ KEYSTONE LIVID

Following on in the same vein as recent single ‘How Is It’, emerging South London troubadour, Loz Keystone, unveils a woozy, and at times chilling, exploration of loss and longing on his newest cut, ‘Livid’. Written in the wake of his father’s untimely death, amidst the confusion of “a semi-conscious mess of intoxicated late nights and meaningless one-night-stands”, you can hear the wretchedness of the situation in Keystone’s stark lyrical content. Whispering gossamer vocals, austere church organs and a shuffling lo-fi synth pop arrangement all lend themselves to accentuate this conflicted atmosphere but while ‘Livid’ is undeniably haunting, it retains the warm intimacy of only the most deeply confessional moments. Based on the poignancy of these first two singles, we’re waiting in eager anticipation of Keystone’s debut full-length, To Feel Love-KJ
